Compare the attitudes to poverty conveyed in the films you have studied for this topic. La Haine: Attitudes towards poverty, are represented in many different ways throughout the films i have studied. For example in La Haine, Saïd and Vinz go to Hubert's gym to see it has been burnt down by rioters and yet we see Hubert using a punching bag and making no obvious steps toward fixing his gym. This portrays them as having no motivation or money to fix hings in their lives, representing their poverty and also referencing the context of the riots going on in France in the 1990's.
